The corrosive memory is the basic subject of this play. It touches both personal and historical level. The loss of memory in the shape of oblivion or supressed memories. Oblivion as a loss of knowledge obtained by the past experiences. Lacking time to preserve memories while racing after future projections in modern society. As well as the questions: How much one should remember, and how to "use" memories? How can painful memories turn into energy with which to go for a different future?
A complete oblivion or a stop in the past are two extremes which we nowadays meet, but the art has the power to communicate between them. A poetical interpretation, which is one of the tools of the theatre - without too many words, like a flash and colours of the past - can transform painful memories into understanding of the complexity of life as well as into accepting future changes. The play is a unique theatrical meeting of Spanish and Yugoslav artists, artists whose countries both have painful memories from near and faraway past.

"The landscape of Memories" was made in Infant Production in Novi Sad and had its opening night on 25/07 this year. The project has gathered artists from different countries, and at the same time, it has been the continuation of the cooperation between some of the participants. Juan Loriente and Nekane Santamaria have been partners for many years in various plays in Spain; their cooperation with Jadranka Andjelic was activated within The International Network "The Natasha Project". Antonella Diana works regularly with The Dah Theatre where she does the scenography and the costumes in all Jadranka's plays in Theatre OM from Denmark. Boris Kovac is a well-known Yugoslav composer of the new music from Novi Sad, and is aleading figure in the music group Ritual Nova (their current project and concert are called La Danza Apocalypsa Balkanica), the members of which are also Milos Matic and Goran Penic.
